The Society of Black Students in Healthcare is committed to providing Black students with the opportunities and resources to succeed in the healthcare field. Recognizing the significant underrepresentation of Black individuals in medicine and healthcare, with only 6% of physicians identifying as Black. The Society aims to bridge the gap and level the playing field through our core pillars: Service and Community.

Service

Organizing events, workshops, and educational programs to raise awareness about healthcare disparities affecting Black communities and advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the healthcare industry to ensure equal opportunities for Black professionals.
